Don't see a wig that'll work for you? Ask Fantasy Sheep if they have a good wig for your character [including images helps] as they probably do! I've done it and they've listed wigs for the character I needed that they didn't have up before, as well as told me which other wigs of theirs might work well for me.

Ah... I just figured I should post this here too, as I did it on FB so HEY, WHY NOT? Also I'd love any/all feedback critique. Esp. on the style of the chibi, as I never draw chibi so yeah, it was a bit weird for me.

Does the flag BG look okay, or should it be flat with no filter on it to make it look all textured? I'd like some opinions on it, as I keep going back and forth between liking it and not. xD;;;

Well, I've never made a hat before and boy does it show. Everything is too big. @_@ I know what I've done wrong though, so the next hat should look better. It took about two hours to make [including the time it took me to make a pattern for it]

As I said, too big [even the face I put on looks huge and tbh I sort of half assed it as I already screwed up on it by that point anyway haha] and all but feel free to critique or whatever, idk.

[Also, I'm thinking I'd charge about $12-$15 per hat when I make some good ones. Too high? Too low? I am awful at making decisions. xD;]

I'll be doing Artist Alley this year [if I can swipe a table] with two other girls, and I'll be selling buttons, bookmarks, prints, hats, and stickers. It's my first time but I think I can manage this... I'm mainly selling Hetalia, Kingdom Hearts, and Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice as I don't have a lot of money for merchandise and I want to go with stuff I like/know. Once I get my feet in the water and figure out what sells, what doesn't, and what I should have had, etc., I'll get more ~daring~, but until then I'll just bring a few of everything and hope to at least break even. I still haven't figured out pricing for everything but I've been planning a lot so all should go smoothly. The hardest part will be getting all this drawn in time. As I have very little at the moment.

Well, I'm off to go work on a hat or two [maybe I'll make one in doll size too and see where that gets me?] and try to sketch up another button. [As even with a few months until the con I'm already freaking out about getting everything done in time. orz]

I realized some newer characters [like Australia, Vietnam, Holland, Thailand, etc... I tried not to include the tiny, barely existing characters, though I figured one or two what have been seen in strips or something might be good to have] weren't in it so I've added them, and I've also put a "on top" section with a random gender for the het section. I was thinking of adding human names as well [something like this.], but I'm not sure if that would be nice or just unneeded clutter. Anything else you can think of I should do? Or do people not even use this thing anymore? xD;

Okay, due to the sad, sad Hetalia cosplay wigs on ebay I've decided to try to make one of the more difficult wigs to see just how easy it is to fuck up a Hetalia hairstyle. I may sell it after, as this is just a practice/for fun kind of thing [and I've wanted to attempt to do a wig styled after Korea for ages! It looks like such a fun challenge!] but only if it actually turns out nice. But hey, who knows; maybe I'll fall in love with it and keep it for myself. xD

I've never done something this complicated [the closest I've come is my Canada wig; which seemed to get it's fair share of love for such an unnoticed character ;D] but I think it could be a fun thing to try out. I have it all planned out, but it actually going as planned is a whoooole other issue, so I figured I'd keep track of my progress here so if I do mess up I can try to find out where it was I messed up, or maybe even get some tips/advice about this!

I want to make an accurate wig for Korea, which includes the little face in his hair curl. my concern is how small it has to be. I don't want to make the curl and face huge, but I may have to make it a little big.

I have pictures of the basic idea. It's rough, uneven, and not even the right colour, but it gives you an idea of what I'm doing.

I'm still looking around on ebay for a nice, long-ish wig [so I can cut it to the right length and keep an extra piece for the curl] and once I find one I can get it and go to town. I have most the supplies I'll need and I can do a few test runs with the long pieces of hair I cut off.

I'll make another post when I get more done.

P.S. If all goes well I'm thinking of making little Korea hair curl clip ons for people who already have a good wig and just want the curl; or for people who just want to wear it randomly or something. xD Anyone even remotely interested? I know I'll probably make one or two just for fun/practice and I thought I'd throw it out there.

uugh, nothing I'm drawing is turning out right, and I can't seem to write more than a paragraph at a time. I'm not happy with my latest doodles and am missing my tablet a lot. :| I have a fic to write for a friend's birthday and I'm only at about 1500 words, which is a lot for me, but the story isn't near done [I'll probably need another 1000 words or so] and while I know what I want to happen and am enjoying it I just don't find the words flowing like they usually do.

Overall life isn't bad I suppose, but these artistic blocks are so annoying.

I've bought more books, maybe I'll go read one of them for a bit. [although, knowing me, I'll just end up continuing to re-read HP:GoF... I still need to finish The Jungle Book and Let Me Go. OTL]

for those of you who don't know, a few days ago another little kitten [who looks a LOT like Charlie] showed up. We assumed it was the third kitten, and that he'd been separated all this time.

Well, FIVE more kittens just showed up[literally just now], so we really don't know what to make of this any more.

Well, I'm 19 now.

I almost got my tattoo today, but then I hung out with Kemi and didn't go through with it. I want it, but I feel like getting it now would be rushing it. I've been wanting the tattoo for two months, so while I've wanted a tattoo for years, I feel like I should think it over more first; just because.

I had fun hanging out with Kemi, we made fun of Twilight and watched Hetalia. It was a pretty chill day, but I really enjoyed it. I got some money and two DVDs, too. :3

okay, I've been updating on twitter a lot, but I figure I should make a real update here real quick.

First, and what I'm sure is most interesting for people other than me, is that we are keeping both Charlie and Sam. :) How many cats does one have to have to be a crazy cat lady? Because with 8 cats/kittens and the wild cats we feed, I may just be one. xD If nothing else I'm ready to cosplay Greece.
The kittens and their mom[who we can't keep; she doesn't get along with our other cats] are getting fixed atm, and we'll pick them up later today.

My wigs arrived for Marth and Russia. I looove the colour of the Marth wig. It's perfect. I'm getting wig heads for them tomorrow hopefully, and then I'll cut them.

Speaking of cutting; I got a haircut. It's super short now; probably the shortest I've gone yet. I love it.

Also, the beret I ordered for my Smeargle Gijinka cosplay came today~ I've been wearing it randomly and feeling French. And the back of my neck feels a little cold now after the haircut, so I've been wearing a scarf at home. I'm quite French, really. Does this make me French-Canadian? My bb says all I have to do now is grow some facial hair stop shaving.
Vanilla runs away from me with my beret on; I don't think she likes the French much. :/

Well, we have more kittens on our porch. We wont be keeping these, though, sadly. We have six as it is, so yeah...

We've been taking care of the mother for awhile, as she's either been abandoned or is being neglected. Her kittens seem to be about two months old, and there are two, but there might be a third.

One is black and white, and mum named him Charlie as he has a little Charlie Chaplin mustache. The other is all black, and we've named it Sam, since we aren't sure of it's gender yet and Sam can work either way. Also, because I mentioned that the main character from my favorite book was named Charlie, so she asked for other character's names in the book, and one was Sam.

I don't have a picture of Sam, but I do have one mum took of Charlie.

Well, Animazement 2009 is done, and I'm already getting ready for next year. I'm going to be putting as much time as I can/need to into making Marth from SSBB. I have all the cape fabric, so I'm going to start on that. But first, I want to make the armor; since the cape will need to drape over it, so I'd like to get it done first. It may also help me figure out a good way to drape the cape in the front. I've never made an outfit myself like this, let alone armor or a sword. I've done props and wigs, but this will still be a fair amount of work. The armor, actually, doesn't seem that hard, and I want to get started on it soon. I need to find a place I can buy larger sheets of craft foam, and also thicker craft foam for my base. It'll then be covered with styrene, or if that doesn't work, poster board. Sealing paint on craft foam seems annoying, so I'll definitely cover it with something. I'd prefer styrene, but having a back up plan is ALWAYS nice. xD But this means I should have something to put it on while making it. Some pillows and stuff may work, since I don't want to make a dress form if I don't have to. I'm lazy like that. :D

As for the boots, I've realized my Hungary boots SHOULD work quite well if I just make boot covers for them. I might as well use them if I can. :3 I also need to work on the headband; I want to cover it and then add some detailing, and maybe find a new/different gem for the top. The one I have is okay, but... eh.

I also need to look around for good gloves; I'm tempted to try and make my own, but I'll try shopping around first.

There was a wig I LOVED at cyperous I wanted to use for Marth, but last I knew they stopped shipping to America, so yeeeeah. Time to go back to shopping around. The nice thing? It will only need MAYBE some cutting, and MAYBE some crazy minor styling. Unless I find something ~perfect~. So this will will be super easy to do and I doubt I'll need to put it on a wig head. Which is awesome.

Oh, and I KNOW I'm going to freaking DIE in this outfit. I'm thinking maybe wear it at the con for idk, a little bit of a day, and then do some around town photos when it's cooler. Unless I can, idk, put tiny fans in the armor or something haha. xD

Oh, and I also plan to be gijinka Smeargle, but whatever. [My inner artist could not resist haha] That's beyond simple and just for fun. I'll also be bringing Canada back, as I barely wore him before. I still WANT to be Russia, but idk if that'll happen.[I also need to ask my bb if I can borrow her pipe; since I like it and don't really feel like making my own OTL] I wont know for a few months yet, so as it stands my list includes Russia but may change. And Klavier... I should have time to pull him together.

Okay I'm done rambling now. :D

I love love love this series, but only a hand full of my friends seem to know about it. Well, the first few episodes are now on youtube, so go watch. If you like it you can look into finding the rest of the episodes to watch; as all of the first season is NOT on youtube. Slayers Next is season two, don't go watch that next.

Anyway, I just thought I'd throw this out there, since I really need to rebuy this series sometime and want to get more people into it. It's a pretty old anime but I still enjoy it. [aaand I'm awful and haven't watched the new season that was released a while back. OTL I got up to about ep7 and then just never finished... I'd rather buy it than watch it online so I'll just have to wait and look around for it I guess, since I haven't seen it on dvd yet, and I've heard Funimation licensed it, so yeah.]

I'm excited, but I'll have to get up early. @_@ He's on one day at 7am, the next at 5am, and the day after that at 10:30am. Well, my sleeping schedule is about to get fucked. xD I'll take screen caps if the lag isn't too bad. And post the other ones I took from when he was on Mr. Brain. They're on another comp so yeah.

Oh, and the first show, the one at 7am... the Black Eyed Peas are also on it. It's... an interesting mix of guests, I'll say that. xD

I'm thinking sleep early and get up at 6 or so when he's on at 7am so I can tune in an hour early and try to avoid some lag... and then sleep late after that, and stay up until the 5am show and sleep when it ends at 5:30 and not sleep in any so I'll be good and tired to get up at least an hour for the 10:30 show... maybe earlier, it depends on how bad the lag for the last two shows have been, so I can't quite say yet when I should get up for the 10:30 show.

After all that I can start trying to sleep like a normal person haha.

[There are too many dogs and shitty people around for us to feel okay letting them out.] ...Okay, they were. Mum went to check on them and two got out of her room; Gackt and Joshua, and they are now in my room, since she didn't want to risk more getting out to put them back in. So I'm sort of stuck in my room too. I'm okay with that though, I just feel bad for the cats. I know they don't want to be stuck in here. I opened the window for them but they're STILL [understandably] unhappy. And Joshua almost got outside a moment ago when he got out of mum's room, so we need to keep them shut in somewhere... :/

Wow, it's this week... five days away; four if you don't count today. I'm still trying to get things done; our AC dieing REALLY threw me off, but I made the case for my Canada glasses and now all I have to do is trim wigs and finish my Hungary boots. I'll do the boots tomorrow, and when we get the air fixed I can mess with wigs. Because I need fans on; it's so freaking hot here. And it's raining so we had to shut all the windows. :/

Anyway, how is everyone else?

Well, my AC just died. =A= It did this not long ago. We seriously need a new unit or something... Messing with the circuit breaker makes it work for a moment, but then it shuts itself off again. :/

Wow. We have a week until Animazement. I'm happy to say all my cosplays are pretty much done, and the wig I'm going to cut for a friend arrived today so I wont have to do it at the last minuet! :D Not rushing is always nice~

I got more cosplay shopping today; just general stuff we'll need for the con like hand sanitizer, ear plugs, cups and plates, etc. Now I just need to finish up last minuet cosplay stuff and start packing.

Hopefully things are going well for everyone else.

Two weeks. This is just crazy. I need to start really getting ready and stop hanging out with people now. xD Yeeah, I'm not having a repeat of last year. My bb still needs to get her wigs. I'm not sure why I still have them, I just do. "OTL I'd bring them for her but I reeeeally don't have room. :/ Hell, I need to down size as much as I can as it is. I only need to trim my Canada wig, get a case for my Canada glasses, and finish the trim for m Hungary boots. I still can't believe how ready I am for this con. I mean, seriously. I'm usually buying last minuet things and trying to finish stuff. Not that I don't have stuff to do and all now, but it's not stressful like it usually is. It's really nice. Of course, I haven't gotten money for the wigs I have to order/cut/style/what-have-you yet, so there's do there's that. :/ I really don't mind, I just hope it doesn't cut it too close, or I don't know how I'll pack and do last minuet things when I have wigs to work on. @_@ That's if they arrive in time. I mean, two weeks REALLY isn't a very long time guys. IDK, I guess I'm just worried something will go wrong. "orz

Tomorrow I'm going to do ironing; like ironing the flags and stuff, and maybe trim my Canada wig. I need to get something done, it's getting crazy close and the "oh shit it's going to be here any day now" feeling is setting in and I reeeally want to get something done.

wow, only twenty days left! @_@ This is crazy... Progress has slowed a bit, but due to lack of room in the van [packing all those flag poles and my sitar will be fun haha~] I may have to drop Klavier, so I haven't touched the wig yet as if I'm not even bringing it I can spend my time doing other things.

This also means that, of all the things I OMG HAD TO DO, the biggest thing has now dropped off my list. So, while I don't want to drop him it would make my work load much lighter.

Also my Canada glasses haven't gotten here yet so I'm kind of freaking out, but they're coming from England iirc so this wait is normal and I need to stop being paranoid. edit 2: iieee they arrived today and I love them! I'm wearing them now to get used to the feeling of wearing glasses; as I barely ever wear even sunglasses, so yeah. xD But I'm thrilled they arrived. :D

and now to go rush order a wig for a friend. Because she swears she can pay me back. She's mailing the money soon, but it wont get here in time, so we'll see. :| I know I'm taking a risk of being out $36; but if she doesn't give me the money she isn't getting the wig; so I'll sort something out... xD edit: I recounted just to make sure, and it wont get here in time so yeah, not ordering. I've left her a message but she's offline.

Let's see, what else... oh, I helped my bb make a plushie the other day. I should be working on my OWN plushies I have to make, but you know, whatever. xD; [Gah, I'm not looking forward to all the layers of Austria's hair or making his clothes. I'm going to try and do that this week though. Modifying Hungary boots > plushies. :3]

So I got up early to see Gackt on tv this morning. Wow was the channel lagging! I got kicked off MULTIPLE times and for most of it the audio wouldn't work but I got a few screen caps. :3
